* What are 03 numbers?
In 2009, Ofcom (is the government-approved regulatory) introduced UK-wide 03 numbers as an alternative to chargeable 08 numbers, such as 0870 (0800 + 08000 were only FREE numbers).
With advances in technology and the simple fact that the majority of people use mobile phones to make calls, 03 numbers provide organisations a way to offer you a single (UK-wide) point of contact.
Calls to 03 numbers are the same as 01 / 02 numbers and count as inclusive minutes in the same way. These rules apply to calls from any phone including mobile, BT/TalkTalk/Virgin etc..
